GMA revives 'Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre'

GMA Network is set to revive the iconic fantasy series 'Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre,' which will air on June 16.

The show stars Bianca Umali as Terra, a superhero who protects Encantadia alongside other elemental gem keepers played by Faith da Silva, Kelvin Miranda, and Angel Guardian.

New characters include Rhian Ramos as Mitena, the Ice Princess from Mine-ave, who vows revenge after being abandoned at birth.

Returning cast members like Glaiza de Castro, Gabbi Garcia, Sanya Lopez, and Kylie Padilla join the ensemble in their original roles, while additional voice talents bring new special characters to life.

'Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre' aims to inspire viewers through its visual storytelling and themes of power, family, and justice, as revealed in a 11-minute primer video that has generated over 35,000 views on YouTube.

At the show's grand mediacon last June 8 at GMA Network's Studio 6, returning cast members expressed pride and admiration for the new-generation Sang'gres, with Sanya Lopez advising them to take in what they learn from each other as co-stars and friends.
