GMA Kapuso Foundation aids 15K Batanes residents hit by Super Typhoon Julian

More than 15,000 residents in Batanes affected by Super Typhoon Julian received aid from the GMA Kapuso Foundation through its Operation Bayanihan project.

The foundation provided food packs and drinking water to communities on Batan, Sabtang, and Itbayat islands, with some beneficiaries like Gina Rarela and Ledevina Cobico who lost their homes due to the typhoon.

GMA Kapuso Foundation also held a feeding program for affected residents and donated medicines to the Batanes Provincial Health Office, addressing immediate needs such as medical supplies.

With support from various financial institutions, donations can be made via Metrobank, Land Bank, BDO, Bank of Commerce, UnionBank, PNB, Cebuana Lhuillier, GCash, Lazada, and Shopee to assist the affected communities.

The foundation's assistance has been crucial in providing immediate relief and ensuring continued support for those impacted by Typhoon Julian.
