Ginebra preps for Game 7 with Aguilar's fatigue, Thompson's injury

Barangay Ginebra is preparing for Game 7 of the PBA Philippine Cup semifinals against San Miguel Beer with concerns over starting center Japeth Aguilar's fatigue and Scottie Thompson's hamstring issue.

Coach Tim Cone revealed that Aguilar has been facing energy issues due to the long conference, while Thompson continues to deal with a hamstring injury.

In Game 6, Aguilar played 32 minutes and contributed 16 points, four rebounds, and a block but showed signs of fatigue as Fajardo logged 40 minutes with 21 points and 16 rebounds.

Cone joked about an evil plan to exhaust San Miguel's June Mar Fajardo by making him do wind sprints before Game 7, which is set for Tuesday, July 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
