Ginebra ends TNT's streak, secures third

Ginebra started strong with a 13-0 lead, capitalizing on TNT's early struggles including the loss of Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser due to a Flagrant Foul 2, which allowed them to set the tone for their crucial win.

Japeth Aguilar led Ginebra with a double-double of 20 points and 14 rebounds, while RJ Abarrientos added 23 points and five three-pointers, contributing significantly to their victory.

With this win, Ginebra now owns its destiny in the chase for the remaining slots for the twice-to-beat advantage in the PBA Philippine Cup quarterfinals, needing only a win against Rain or Shine on Father's Day at Ynares Center in Antipolo City to secure a top-four finish.

TNT, meanwhile, faces Magnolia in their upcoming game and must win to maintain their chance for a top-four spot and the twice-to-beat incentive.
