Gilas Pilipinas faces Hong Kong in FIBA Asia Cup qualifiers

Gilas Pilipinas returns to action this week with home games in the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 qualifiers at Mall of Asia Arena, aiming to remain unbeaten with fan support.

The team faces Hong Kong on Sunday, November 24, starting at 7:30 pm, after securing a third straight win over New Zealand on Thursday, November 21, by defeating them 93-89.

National coach Tim Cone assured that despite some injuries and the victory against New Zealand, the squad is ready for their game against Hong Kong with Justin Brownlee leading the roster along with Kai Sotto and Dwight Ramos.

Coach Cone plans to give Ange Kouame more playing time in Sunday's match against Hong Kong, allowing younger players like Mason Amos to gain experience as well.
