Panelo urges consistent adherence to COVID-19 protocols

Salvador Panelo, Chief Presidential Legal Counsel, expressed disappointment over Filipinos' inconsistent adherence to health protocols against COVID-19 on Saturday.

Panelo emphasized that continued public defiance is hindering efforts to defeat the virus and urged compliance with minimum public health standards such as wearing masks, physical distancing, handwashing, isolation of infected individuals, and tracing contacts.

On Wednesday, Panelo advised the public to get used to quarantine and health rules, stressing that these measures are essential for stopping the further transmission of COVID-19.
