Baron Geisler denies drunken behavior allegations

Actor Baron Geisler addressed recent media reports about his alleged drunken behavior in Mandaue City on his Facebook page and later at a press event for his upcoming film 'Tag-Ulan' on Monday, February 24.

Geisler criticized what he termed as 'irresponsible journalism' for spreading misinformation without verifying the facts, though he did not provide specific details about false claims.

The actor stated that he is doing well and has sought legal advice to address the matter properly, emphasizing that the truth will come out soon.

Reports emerged last Saturday, February 22, that Geisler was taken into custody at the Canduman Police Station for allegedly violating Mandaue's City Ordinance No. 11-2008-434 on drunkenness or severe intoxication.

Geisler was reportedly released after settling a fine the following day and appeared sober during an interview, thanking those who support him.
