Gas prices up for 8th week, diesel and kerosene for 9th

Gasoline prices will see their eighth consecutive weekly increase on Tuesday, with diesel and kerosene experiencing their ninth.

Leading oil firms like Caltex, Petron, Shell, Seaoil, Cleanfuel, Phoenix Petroleum, PTT Philippines, and Unioil plan to raise gasoline prices by P0.50 per liter, diesel by P1.20, and kerosene by P1.10.

According to the DOE-OIMB, further price hikes are expected next week with potential increases of P0.20 to P0.40 for gasoline, P0.80 to P1.00 for diesel, and P0.90 to P1.10 for kerosene.
