Galvez: Vaccine supply deals to be finalized by end-January

Vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. targets to finalize all supply agreements with pharmaceutical companies before the end of January or early February.

Galvez stated during a Senate hearing and press conference that actual vaccine delivery will depend on the approval of emergency use authorization by the FDA.

So far, only the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine has received EUA from the country's Food and Drug Administration.

The government is coordinating with local government units to synchronize simulation activities in preparation for the vaccination campaign.
