NTF vows to aid Davao City in addressing Covid-19 surge

The National Task Force (NTF) against Covid-19 chief Carlito Galvez Jr. assured Davao City on Monday that the national government will help strengthen its testing, contact tracing, treatment, isolation, and recovery efforts in response to the surge of coronavirus cases.

Galvez apologized to Mayor Sara Duterte for singling out home quarantine as a reason for the spike in cases, after realizing that the city prohibits this practice.
