Nograles: 4-day workweek 'option' amid COVID-19 threat

The government is considering a four-day workweek as a precautionary measure against the spread of COVID-19, according to Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles.

Nograles, who is part of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease, said this option would be considered especially for government offices that are more exposed to the virus.

However, he noted that a final decision has not yet been made and discussions are ongoing in small groups with the Civil Service Commission.
