Iloilo solon Garin tests positive for COVID-19

Iloilo 1st District Representative Janette Garin tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday.

Garin is fully vaccinated but has mild symptoms including cold, cough, fever, and chills.

She informed her close contacts to quarantine and monitor their health.

Despite being tachycardic (fast heart rate), she feels fortunate due to her vaccination status.

Garin previously served as Health secretary from Dec 2014 to June 2016 under President Aquino III.
