SB19 headlines Binibining Pilipinas 60th grand coronation with OPM icons

SB19, the reigning kings of P-Pop, will return to entertain during the 2024 Binibining Pilipinas grand coronation night celebrating the 60th anniversary of the national beauty contest.

Joining SB19 as special featured performers are OPM icons Martin Nievera and Gary Valenciano, with TJ Monterde and Maki also set to perform during the ceremony.

Five Filipina beauty queens—Catriona Gray (Miss Universe 2018), Nicole Cordoves (Miss Grand International 2016 runner-up), MJ Lastimosa (Miss Universe Philippines 2014), Kylie Verzosa (Miss International 2016), and Ruffa Gutierrez (Miss World 1993 runner-up)—will host the event.

The pageant's grandeur is further enhanced by reigning Miss International Andrea Rubio’s presence, with increased prize money for winners and runners-up.

During a press presentation on June 7 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City, two new crowns crafted by Manny Halasan were unveiled, featuring responsibly-sourced diamonds inspired by the Bb. Pilipinas logo.

The Binibinis will showcase their national costumes at a competition on June 11 before the Grand Coronation Night on July 7, where two queens will be crowned to represent the Philippines in international competitions.
