Fire in Tondo injures two, displaces 130

A four-storey residential building in Tondo, Manila caught fire on Monday afternoon at 2:07 p.m., affecting nine individuals, including a 79-year-old property owner with minor burns and a three-year-old girl who had difficulty breathing due to smoke inhalation.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) declared the fire extinguished by 3:14 p.m. and estimated around P250,000 worth of damage to fifteen residential units and establishments.

Approximately 130 people were affected by the incident.

Fortunately, there were no fatalities reported.
