Filipinas win gold in women's team poomsae at SEA Games

Filipina taekwondo athletes Jocel Lyn Ninobla, Aidaine Laxa, and Nicole Labayne won gold in the women's recognized team poomsae event at the 32nd Southeast Asian Games on Friday.

The Philippine team scored 108.5 points, beating Malaysia by a margin of 0.5 points.

This victory marks Ninobla's third consecutive gold medal since 2017 and her second gold in this year’s SEA Games after winning the individual event previously.

Ninobla expressed motivation to share her success with Laxa and Labayne, who trained together online during the pandemic.
