Far Eastern eyes UAAP glory with Coach Chambers

Far Eastern University's men's basketball team has set its sights high ahead of the upcoming UAAP season, following their bronze medal performance in the FilOil EcoOil Preseason tournament and under new head coach Sean Chambers.

Chambers, who previously played as one of the best PBA imports for Alaska, aims to turn around Far Eastern’s disappointing seventh-place finish in Season 86 with his experience and leadership, emphasizing a high-intensity training approach that has already seen improvements from returning players like Royce Alforque and rookies such as Veejay Pre.

The team's recent performance in the preseason cup showcased strong individual efforts, with Bautista scoring 21 points and Konateh recording a double-double against Letran, reflecting a 'never-quit' attitude that has resonated throughout the tournament.

Coach Chambers praised his players for their hard work and dedication to the system he is implementing, which includes elements of the triangle offense, helping the team execute high-quality shots.

With renewed confidence under Chambers’ guidance, the Tamaraws are optimistic about their prospects in Season 87 as they continue to build on their preseason success.
