Leyva, Locsin distribute PPEs to frontliners

Fashion designer Michael Leyva and actress Angel Locsin distributed personal protective equipment (PPE) for frontliners battling the coronavirus pandemic.

Leyva wrote on Instagram that he included Bible verses and words of encouragement in the PPE sets to uplift the spirits of healthcare workers.

Angel has also been setting up tents and soliciting beds and pillows for hospital workers, raising close to P1 million as of March 26.

Other fashion designers such as Patty Ang, Puey Quinones, Yong Davalos, Santi Obcena, Rajo Laurel, and Domz Ramos have also joined the effort by sewing surgical masks and protective gear for health workers.
