Erap taken off ventilator, health improving

Former president Joseph 'Erap' Estrada's health condition continues to improve as he has been taken off ventilator support.

Jinggoy Estrada, Erap's son and former senator, said on Friday that his father is responding well to treatment and doctors are slowly weaning him off the ventilator.

While other organ functions remain stable, Jinggoy noted that there is still a long way to go before Erap is out of danger.
