Evardone backs Robredo for president

Eastern Samar Governor Ben Evardone endorsed Vice President Leni Robredo for president on Monday, March 14.

Evardone stated that President Rodrigo Duterte's recent remarks about the traits his successor should have were a 'virtual endorsement' of Robredo.

The governor highlighted Robredo's consistent pro-poor programs and her efforts to deliver services in far-flung areas.

Earlier on Monday, Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando also endorsed Robredo’s presidential run.
