Palace: Duterte may get Kuwait entry exemption

President Rodrigo Duterte may still be able to visit Kuwait despite an entry ban on Filipino travelers due to coronavirus concerns.

Malacañang spokesperson Salvador Panelo said there is a high chance that Duterte would receive an exemption from the travel restrictions.

Panelo noted that Duterte has not yet scheduled his trip, but intends to push through with it as he seeks justice for murdered Filipina domestic worker Jeanalyn Villavende.
