Philippines expects 1.4M CoronaVac doses this month

The Philippines expects 1.4 million doses of CoronaVac vaccines this month, with 1 million procured doses arriving on March 21 and an additional 400,000 donated by the Chinese government.

President Duterte announced that China will donate another 400,000 vaccine doses, bringing their total donation to one million doses.

The country has vaccinated over 9,000 Filipinos since its inoculation drive began on March 1, primarily medical frontliners.
