Duterte rejects face-to-face classes over Delta variant

President Rodrigo Duterte will not allow face-to-face (F2F) classes to resume until Filipinos have sufficient protection against COVID-19.

Duterte emphasized that he does not want to gamble with children's health, especially considering the threat of the Delta variant.

During a meeting on Monday, June 21, Duterte rejected DepEd’s proposal for limited F2F classes in low-risk areas.
