Duque OKs Pfizer booster shots for ages 12-17

Health Secretary Francisco Duque III has approved the Health Technology Assessment Council's recommendation to administer Pfizer booster shots to children aged 12-17.

The Department of Health is drafting guidelines for the administration of these booster doses, which will be released soon.

As of June 19, about 70 million or 77.81% of the country’s target population are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
