DSWD gives cash aid to indigent students every Saturday until Sept. 24

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) will provide financial assistance to indigent students every Saturday until September 24.

Secretary Erwin Tulfo announced that elementary students will receive P1,000, high school students P2,000, senior high school students P3,000, and college or vocational course students P4,000.

There can be up to three beneficiaries per family.

Tulfo said the program aims to help poor children buy school supplies or other necessities.

Students must go to a DSWD office with their enrollment certificate and school ID.
