DOT proposes 'green lane' for vaccinated tourists

The Department of Tourism (DOT) has proposed setting up a 'green lane' for fully vaccinated foreign visitors as part of efforts to reopen the tourism industry.

Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat said this initiative will help revive the tourism sector and provide jobs for workers in the industry.

The DOT is studying protocols for inbound international travel for people who have been fully vaccinated, following a task from the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).
