DOT: 14 destinations scrap swab test for fully vaxxed tourists

The Department of Tourism announced on Thursday that 14 destinations across the Philippines have waived their swab test requirement for fully vaccinated tourists.

Tourism Secretary Berna Romulo-Puyat welcomed this move, noting it aligns with DOT's push for fewer travel restrictions in highly vaccinated areas.

Cebu Province, Lapu-Lapu City, and Catbalogan City are among the destinations that no longer require RT-PCR or antigen tests for fully vaccinated visitors as of October 24.
