UE alumna supports old and new teams during game

Casiey Dongallo, a former University of the East (UE) player who transferred to the University of the Philippines (UP), expressed her support and nostalgia during UE's UAAP Season 87 women's volleyball opening game on February 15.

Dongallo, along with other California Academy players, left UE to join UP in the previous season but still feels a connection to her former school, supporting both teams due to her past experiences with each.

She watched the match between UE and Ateneo from the sidelines, expressing her emotional attachment to both teams during an interview.

Despite the emotional transition, Dongallo appreciates the unity among her teammates as they start their new journey at UP and focuses on her academic responsibilities while training for the Philippine National Volleyball Federation Under-21 tournament.

Currently serving a one-year residency period before becoming eligible for UP's team in Season 88, she is also cherishing the bond with her former teammates from California Academy who joined her at UP.
