DOLE releases P5k cash aid guidelines for Alert Level 3 workers

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) released guidelines for its PHP1-billion COVID Adjustment Measure Program (CAMP) providing a one-time P5,000 financial assistance to affected private sector workers due to Alert Level 3 or higher declarations starting January.

Private establishments can apply on behalf of their employees, while individual workers may also apply through the DOLE Establishment Reporting System (ERS).

The program excludes government employees, tourism sector workers already receiving aid from CAMP with the Department of Tourism, and foreigners except for persons of concern (POCs) recognized by the Department of Justice.

DOLE aims to open applications next week once the guidelines are published.
