DOLE: 116 firms apply for PHP5K aid under CAMP 3

As of Monday, January 24, 116 firms have applied for cash aid under DOLE's CAMP 3 program.

These companies employ 1,223 workers affected by temporary or permanent closures due to Alert Level 3.

DOLE also reported nearly 500 individuals have filed applications for the PHP5,000 one-time financial assistance.

The Ilocos Region is now accepting applications from displaced or retrenched workers for CAMP 3, with a total of PHP2 billion allocated nationally.

CAMP 3 covers all employees in formal sector relationships, including casual, contractual, and job order employees affected by flexible work arrangements or temporary closures.
