DOH: Regions 7, 8 see high turnout in nat'l vax drive

The Department of Health (DOH) reported that more residents in Region 7 participated in the National Vaccination Days from November 29 to December 1.

Dr. Mary Jean Loreche, DOH-7 chief pathologist, stated that 631,450 vaccine doses were administered during this period in Central Visayas.

In Eastern Visayas, the region ranked second nationwide on the first day of the National Vaccination Days with 65.70 percent of its target met.

DOH regional director Exuperia Sabalberino urged 1.5 million unvaccinated residents in Region 8 to take advantage of the three-day drive and emphasized that there are enough vaccine supplies for daily targets.
