DOH: One resident hospitalized for asthma due to Mindoro oil spill

As of Tuesday, March 7, only one resident exposed to the oil spill in Oriental Mindoro has been admitted to a hospital due to aggravated asthma.

DOH officer-in-charge Maria Rosario Vergeire reported that many residents experienced breathing difficulties but only one required hospitalization.

The individual was discharged the next day after their condition improved. Other residents have reported short-term symptoms such as headaches and dizziness, which were managed in healthcare facilities.
