DOH: Most COA-flagged P67.3-B funds 'resolved'

The Department of Health (DOH) reported on Monday that most of the PHP67.3 billion 'deficiencies' flagged by the Commission on Audit (COA) have been resolved.

Health Undersecretary Leopoldo Vega assured the public that no funds were wasted and noted that the audit observations are not yet final, allowing for rectification of deficiencies to improve efficiency.

COA highlighted unobligated allotments totaling PHP11.89 billion as of December 31, 2020.
