DOH logs 67 new COVID-19 cases; active tally down

The DOH reported 67 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, bringing the national tally to over 4 million.

This is the third time since April 2020 that daily cases are below 100; previously recorded were 89 and 36 cases.

Active cases decreased to 9,268 from 9,338 on Monday.

The DOH also reported an additional 189 recoveries and 10 deaths.

In the past week, the Philippines logged 1,012 new cases, a decrease of 16% from the previous week.

No severe or critical cases were added to the tally in recent weeks.
