DFA issues advisory on nCoV precautions

The DFA issued an urgent advisory on February 4 for Filipinos abroad, especially those in areas affected by the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), to take necessary health precautions.

Filipinos needing assistance related to 2019-nCoV are advised to contact their nearest Philippine Embassy or Consulate General immediately.

The DOH and DFA also opened a WeChat hotline for Filipinos in China, providing health-related queries and psychological support; as of February 3, the virus has killed 350 people and infected over 11,000 in China.
