DOH denies favoritism in Pfizer vaccine distribution

Health officials denied allegations of favoritism in the distribution of Pfizer vaccines on Monday.

DOH Undersecretary Abdullah Dumama noted that both Cebu and Davao received 210,000 doses each.

Dumama explained that Davao has the capability to store ultra-low temperature freezers needed for Pfizer vaccines.

Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire reiterated that vaccine allocation is based on need and prioritization framework, not favoritism.
