DOH declares code white alert for Jesus Nazareno Traslacion

The Department of Health (DOH) has declared a code white alert for the Traslacion of Jesus Nazareno in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, and Laguna until Thursday, with 201 personnel from the Health Emergency Response Team providing medical support.

Partner agencies such as the MMDA, NDRRMC, NCRPO, BFP, PCG, and MMCHD will ensure coordinated health responses during the event.

The DOH encourages devotees to refrain from attending if they are feeling unwell or showing symptoms like cough and colds, emphasizing adherence to health and safety precautions, including staying hydrated and wearing comfortable clothing.

Health stations along the Traslacion route will provide basic and advanced care with ambulances on standby, while security cameras monitor traffic situations and ensure peace and order in cooperation with the police.
