DOH: 'Bayanihan, Bakunahan' III extended until Feb 18

The third wave of the government's mass vaccination drive, 'Bayanihan, Bakunahan', has inoculated 1.3 million individuals as of Saturday, falling short of the target of five million.

Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire announced that the program was extended until February 18 to allow more people to get vaccinated.

On Thursday alone, over 660,000 Filipinos were vaccinated, with at least 442,346 receiving primary doses and 219,972 getting booster shots.

Vergeire also stated that pediatric vaccination would continue in dedicated sites for children aged 5 to 11 to avoid any errors.
