DOH adviser opposes booster card req in NCR

Dr. Edsel Salvana of the Department of Health-Technical Advisory Group said on Thursday that requiring proof of a COVID-19 booster shot in NCR establishments is premature.

Salvana cited low primary vaccination coverage as the reason for not implementing this requirement yet.

Presidential Adviser Joey Concepcion previously suggested making booster cards mandatory to enter Metro Manila establishments, noting high vaccination rates there.
