DoH: PH coronavirus cases reach 410K, death toll nears 8K

As of Tuesday, November 17, the Department of Health (DoH) reported 410,718 total coronavirus infections in the Philippines with a death toll of 7,862.

The latest figures show an increase of 1,148 new cases and 23 additional deaths since Sunday.

Recoveries increased by 186 to reach 374,543, while active cases stood at 28,313 with the majority being mild (83.6%).

Cavite had the highest number of new cases on Tuesday with 88 infections, followed by Quezon City and Rizal.

The DoH also reported that four duplicates were removed from the tally and eight previously tagged as recovered were reclassified as deaths.
