Philippine Regions Report High Recovery Rates for COVID-19

As of Thursday, November 12, Eastern Visayas has recorded 6,879 recoveries from COVID-19, representing 90.11% of confirmed cases since March.

The DOH reported that almost 99 percent of patients are asymptomatic or have mild symptoms, with severe or critical cases making up the rest.

In Eastern Visayas, 72 deaths have been recorded, and the region has 35 active cases.

Meanwhile, Soccsksargen has a recovery rate of 76% with 2,487 out of 3,252 confirmed cases recovering since March.

Caraga Region has recorded 2,497 recoveries as of Monday, November 9, with the region having 428 active cases and 133 deaths since the pandemic began in March.
