PH to defend WPS territories without PCA ruling

The Philippines remains committed to defending its territories in the West Philippine Sea even without the 2016 Permanent Court of Arbitration ruling that invalidated Chinese claims.

Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana stated that there is no international body to enforce the PCA ruling, but the country will continue to defend its rights.

DND spokesperson Arsenio Andolong echoed President Duterte's remarks, saying the government will protect what belongs to them without resorting to war.
