PH surpasses 3M COVID-19 tests

As of mid-September, over three million Filipinos have been tested for COVID-19.

Daily testing capacity has increased to nearly 42,000 tests per day from just 500 in March.

The government aims to further innovate and accelerate test results release by considering antigen tests and pooled testing.

There are now 125 accredited laboratories nationwide, up from fewer earlier this year.

Dizon emphasized the importance of continued collaboration between national and local governments and the private sector for effective testing.
