Diouf leads UP to OT win, earns Player of Week honor

University of the Philippines' Malick Diouf led his team to an 80-76 overtime victory over Far Eastern University in the UAAP Season 86 men's basketball tournament on Wednesday.

Diouf, the reigning MVP, also earned the first Collegiate Press Corps UAAP Men's Player of the Week award for his impressive averages of 17 points, 15.3 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks per game over three games.

Favour Onoh, a first-year player on the women's team, has been equally instrumental with her strong performance, helping UP maintain an undefeated record in both men's and women's divisions.
