DILG releases uncensored mugshots of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) released uncensored mugshots of Kingdom of Jesus Christ leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy and his co-accused on Tuesday after public criticism over blurred images from the day before.

According to DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos, 'No one's above the law,' as he shared the latest versions of the mugshots in a Facebook post.

On Monday, the Philippine National Police (PNP) released blurred mugshots and videos of Quiboloy and other arrested individuals, stating it aligns with guidelines from the Commission on Human Rights to protect suspects' dignity.

Quiboloy is currently detained facing charges under Philippine and US laws for alleged child trafficking and exploitation, along with four other suspects arrested at the KJC compound in Davao City on Sunday.

The PNP clarified that Quiboloy and his co-accused requested their faces be covered during Monday's media presentation.
