DFA: 145 new COVID-19 cases among overseas Filipinos

The DFA reported 145 new COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad over the past week.

This brings the total number of overseas Filipino COVID-19 cases to 24,518, with 8,580 currently undergoing treatment and 1,458 fatalities.

In the Asia Pacific region, there are 6,482 confirmed cases, including 1,828 active cases and 135 deaths.

For the Middle East and Africa, there are 13,307 total cases with 5,668 active cases and 929 deaths.

In Europe, there are 3,653 confirmed cases, including 959 active cases and 130 deaths.

In the Americas, there are 1,076 confirmed cases, with 125 active cases and 264 fatalities.
