Pulse Asia: 9 out of 10 Filipinos hopeful for 2021

According to a Pulse Asia survey conducted from November 3 to December 2, 2020, nine out of ten Filipinos remain optimistic about facing 2021 despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The survey found that 91% of Filipino adults are hopeful for the new year, with this sentiment consistent across all geographic areas and socio-economic groups.

Only 1% of respondents expressed a lack of hope for the coming year, while 8% were ambivalent.

These figures are similar to those recorded in December 2019 when 93% of Filipinos felt hopeful about facing 2020.
