Del Rosario urges Duterte to reject 'narrative of war' on South China Sea

Former Foreign Affairs secretary Albert del Rosario is urging President Rodrigo Duterte to reject China's 'narrative of war' regarding the South China Sea dispute.

Del Rosario reiterated that war is not the only option for the Philippines in asserting its rights over the West Philippine Sea and urged Duterte to reject this narrative.

He pointed out that Duterte himself raised the Hague ruling at the United Nations, proving that asserting rights does not lead to war with China.
