3 PUI deaths in Soccsksargen test negative for Covid-19

Three more patients under investigation (PUI) in Region 12 who died while awaiting laboratory confirmation have tested negative for Covid-19.

Of the seven deceased PUIs in the region, four have turned out negative, one was positive, and two are still pending results.

A 62-year-old woman from North Cotabato is among those who expired on March 26 while undergoing treatment for suspected symptoms.

In North Cotabato, a 37-year-old woman who died of acute respiratory failure at the Southern Philippine Medical Center tested negative; she had no travel history abroad or to Metro Manila.

A 59-year-old female from Matalam is now in isolation with close contact history to her husband, a confirmed positive patient who visited her on March 8-10 and later tested positive for Covid-19.
