Davao police seize PHP60M worth of drugs, arrest 324 individuals

The Davao City Police Office confiscated PHP60.6 million worth of illegal drugs during 254 anti-drug operations in February, including 8.82 kg of shabu and 5.2 kg of marijuana leaves.

These operations led to the arrest of 324 individuals, with 74 high-value targets and 250 street-level suspects among those apprehended.

In addition to seizures and arrests, police also conducted 108 anti-drug operations in Davao City that resulted in the arrest of 145 drug suspects and another 89 individuals for illegal gambling with PHP225,842 in bets seized.

Police activities included the arrest of 168 wanted people, including 53 most wanted individuals, as well as targeted loose firearms resulting in 13 arrests and the seizure of 17 firearms.

A total of 319 cases were filed in court to ensure legal action against the suspects, reflecting the commitment of the Davao City Police Office and PRO-11 to maintain safety and security in the city.
