Letran Knights win double OT thriller, reclaim fourth

Letran Knights secured a crucial victory over San Sebastian College-Recoletos in double overtime, 101-98, on Tuesday at Filoil EcoOil Arena to bounce back from their loss to Mapua University and reclaim the fourth place spot in NCAA Season 100.

Vince Cuajao scored a game-high 34 points with seven three-pointers, including nine in overtime, while Jimboy Estrada contributed 30 points, five assists, and seven rebounds after returning from a one-game ban.

Letran now holds a solo fourth place position with a record of 7-6, closely competing against Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) and Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC), both also at 6-6, for the Final Four spots in a highly competitive race.

San Sebastian remains at the bottom of the standings with a 3-10 record but continues to challenge teams like Letran with their run-and-gun style of play.

Other teams still vying for a Final Four spot include University of Perpetual Help (5-7) and Arellano University (4-8), making the competition in NCAA Season 100 extremely tight.
